How do I prevent terrorism damage ?

As we have recently experienced... we can't prevent terrorist attacks..

But we can reduce the effects a terrorist attack might have on your company by preparing now.

We have also learned that a terrorist's attack can range from a person with dynamite strapped to their chest... to a car bomb... to the felling of 110 story skyscrapers.  We even include computer viruses and hackers into the terrorist category, because their effects can be devastating.

The World Trade Centers (WTC) fell with the earthquake magnitude of 2.5 on the Richter Scale... enough to cause severe structural damage and collapse of nearby buildings.

We have for decades believed that we were impervious to terrorism within the United States... that the only serious acts would be by international aggressors.  The truth came when one of our own citizens attacked the Federal Building.  This reinforced our belief that only governmental facilities would be vulnerable.

All that changed on the morning of September 11, 2001!

Objective Group can help you reduce the effects of a terrorist attack by expecting one and having a pre-planned system of operations that keep your company humming right along.

Running at 100% of normal?  No... but well above what could be the outcome... 0% - A Total Shut Down.

1,000s of companies in the WTC complex have disappeared... vaporized... total loss of all facilities, paperwork, records and employees.  One news reporter interviewed the C.E.O. of a company with its single headquarters in the WTC.  He was scheduled to arrive late on that morning as he was enrolling his young daughter in a new school.  He is the only remaining employee in his company.  All 700 fellow employees were lost and his company exists no more.  The painful expression on that C.E.O.'s face told of his anguish and of his heartfelt belief that had he'd been there, he could have done something to save his employees.

If you are the head a company, division or branch office, you need to ponder the above.

Where can I find a book on Terrorism Preparedness ?

You can find books on Terrorism in your local bookstore.

You can find news accounts of terrorism on the internet.

You can get information from your local office of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

You can believe that this is all you have to do... buy a few books... and you are done.

You probably will be "finished" in business, if that is all you do!

You know that ALL THE RULES CHANGED 09-11-2001.

You really need to plan what your company will do after an attack, whether or not the building is still standing.
You NEED to plan for that day BEFORE it happens.

You see, the Objective Group firmly believes that no two companies are the same, no two business markets are the same, and that even identical competitors are not the same.  How  could one book or plan cover all of these with the same plan or program?

You need to have YOUR plan developed exclusively for you to protect your company as best as it can... and that takes us to help you with that plan.

You see... every sentence above begins with "you" - we think it is the most important part of your business.

When do we need to begin?

The simple truth is:

If you don't already have a Terrorist and Disaster Plan, the answer is right now!
No-one knows when or how big the next attack will be or where it will occur.

Actually, the simple truth is that you should have begun yesterday.
